We have had successful campers at every skill level. However, if you are concerned, we offer free assessments to determine if the camp is a good fit for your age and skill level. Simply email us to schedule an assessment

What can I expect for my child if they attend camp this year?
Each child comes to the camp from different backgrounds, different family situations, different levels of confidence, and different churches. So each child will come away with something different. The best thing that answers this question is what we have seen from past campers (names have been changed): Chris and Nathan left camp and started a youth worship band and their church. Molly found prayer support as her family was going through a very difficult situation. Ashley, who had never sung in front of people, found confidence to sing TWO solos at the Concert of Praise. Troy left with an understanding that worship music is not about us. All of the students left with new friends Two guitarists still work with their R4R instructor to develop their gifts. One camper fell ill and found prayer support in her new friends during the week. The list goes on and on… friendships, spiritual growth, improved music skills, leadership, servanthood, and fellowship are all part of what makes R4R the place for your child this summer!
